Work by Buffalo Grove High artists on display at Great Frame Up

A gallery reception for Buffalo Grove High School artists will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at the Great Frame Up, 765 S. Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove.

The LISA (Life is Simply Art) Show was created in 2003 by store owners David and Marlowe Klitzky in honor of their daughter, Lisa, who died in 2002. Representing Buffalo Grove High School are T.J. O'Neill, Vinnie Pauley, Delaney Burnham, Kristen Perek, Mara Flack, Vadym Kalnytskyy, Rimgaile Lukosiunaite, Joseph Roberts, Lizzie Guth, Kaitlin Pollina, Aly Hardin, Gabi Torosian, Alex Abbatiello, Rachel Tanase, and Sandra Garcia.

Art teachers at BGHS are Julie Bale, Jordie Field, Michelle Price and Eleni Sianis.

Winning works will advance to the Best of the Best Show May 16 at the Thompson Center in Chicago. Matting, framing and scholarship money are donated by the Klitzky family. The BGHS exhibit will be on display for the public through March 31.
