Firemen lucky to get any pay raise at all

How noble of the Arlington Heights firemen to ONLY take a 1.8 percent raise this year by giving up HALF their raises.

I did not get any raise last year and will not get one this year either. I know people who have been out of work for well over a year.

To the Herald publishers and editors, please spare us this patronizing blather, especially on Page 1.
