Where's the relief for self-employed?

I am self-employed with a small construction business that I run out of my home. I am close to be homeless. I've been late on my mortgage every month, and I had to borrow from friends. I do not qualify for any type of government help. I am a diabetic, type 2, and haven't done any blood tests or any other test for about two years. Since I do not have insurance, no doctor wants to see me. I am running out of my own medication, and the only way to get it is by checking in to the emergency room, so it can be prescribed by the doctor on duty. I am not asking for a free ride. I have always worked, but there should be a way for self-employed to be able to afford medical insurance. I suggest that instead of taxing us the same as the big corporations, give us a break so we can afford to buy our own insurance. I also suggest that instead of helping banks and corporations, give the aid to small businesses. It doesn't make sense to give money to the banks, when many of us don't qualify for the loans. So in the end, the self-employed get left out, no matter what.

I ask the people in government to stop fooling around and think about us, because we sure will think about you at election time.
