Perhaps it's 'change' for the worse

In 2005, then-U.S. Sen. Obama had a decidedly negative opinion on the reconciliation process he now wants to use to jam his faux health care down our throats, but like any slick pol, he has now reversed his tune from his original position.

To wit: " "Reconciliation is the wrong place for policy changes," he stated in 2005. "In short, the reconciliation process appears to have lost its proper meaning. A vehicle designed for deficit reduction and fiscal responsibility has been hijacked."

Today, this very same person who said this was such a horrible thing is the very same one trying to shut up the public and do an end run around the democratic process by forcing his socialist dystopia on us by voting along strict party lines.

Either the man is just another slick politician, or does not speak the truth. In either case, it sure is not "change you can believe in," unless, that is, it is change for the worse.
