Health care reform will lower costs

I am in the financial industry. For years, I have seen the financial and emotional devastation of families due to non-covered medical bills.

The pre-existing conditions verbiage needs to be eliminated. No one wakes up in the morning planning to get sick. So many (myself included) procrastinate seeing a physician because they don't have the money. It shouldn't be deciding if you want to eat or take your kid to the doctor.

I had a radiologist explain how they have been milking Medicare for years. His example was a foot that needed X-rays. There were three X-rays taken (front, left side, right side). Each was Medicare billed as a separate doctor/medical facility/radiologist bill, so the $500 now became $1500! Just think how many times a day (and for much more) this occurs. That's why they don't want health care to pass. Wouldn't you love to get paid three times your pay for the same work?

If they made everyone in the Senate or House disclose if they had a conflict of interest (ownership of any kind in a hospital, pharmaceutical company, medical partnership, etc.), it would be the same people who are against the health care bill. Please vote for the health care bill.
