No wonder they're baffled by economy

Under President Obama, government spending has gone out of control. Over the next three years he will increase the national debt by $4 trillion.

By the end of his first three years, he will have spent more than all of the past presidents combined. Last year the deficit was $1.9 trillion, about $6,000 for each of us. Last December, the interest alone on the national debt was $100 million.

Even so, the unemployment rate combined with the underemployment rate approached 20 percent. To make matters worse, his socialized health care plan will add at least $1 trillion by his own estimate. Is it so surprising that Obama, who has no previous executive or management skills, and his leftist advisors should prove to be so incompetent when it comes to overseeing the country's economy?
