A right turn on red idea that won't fly

Even though the suburban red light cameras seemed to be placed on corners that have a great number of cars making right turns, I will accept the cameras. If safety is such a major concern, the corners should have "no turn on red" signs placed on them to further enhance safety. The cameras now can be used to catch the vehicles that either turn on red and or go straight through on a red light. This also will reduce the chance of the rear end collisions at these corners. Alas, this safety measure will cause the red light company and the villages to lose revenue. That makes this thought unreasonable (unprofitable).
