Boeing: Tanker work would create more than 70,000 jobs

Boeing Co. said about 70,700 jobs would be created if it wins the contract to build aerial refueling tankers for the U.S. Air Force.

About 10 times as many jobs would be created if Boeing gets the contract compared with a now-withdrawn proposal from rival Northrop Grumman Corp.
