Man charged with selling 'shrooms in Kane Co.

James A. Konrad, 18, of the 2300 block of North Newcastle Street, Chicago, was arrested at 9:06 p.m. Feb. 27 and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of cannabis, according to a police report released Monday.

Police said they found four bags containing 22 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and a bag containing 4.5 grams of marijuana in Konrad's center console after he was stopped for failing to signal when turning at Plank Road and Center Street in Burlington.

Police said they found 2 more grams of marijuana in Konrad's pocket.
