Citgo restarts crude unit at Lemont refinery after repairs
Citgo Petroleum Corp. has started a crude unit at its Lemont refinery that was shut in late February for repairs, according to a person familiar with the plant's operations.
Repairs were completed and the unit has returned to service, said the person, who declined to be identified.
Crude units, also known as distillation units, heat crude oil, dividing its ingredients according to the temperatures at which they boil.
The plant has a capacity of 167,000 barrels a day, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
