Lake Villa Twp. GOP offers scholarship
The Lake Villa Township Republican Club is offering a $1,000 scholarship opportunity for students in Lake Villa Township. The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following qualifications:
• Resident of Lake Villa Township
• Acceptance to the college of your choice
• Actively involved in school, work and community affairs.
Applications are available at the Lake Villa Republican Club Web site, lakevillarepublicans.org, or by e-mailing Jean Smuda, at jean07@comcast.net. Applicants must also obtain two letters of recommendation evidencing the student's character and participation in public and civic affairs.

Applications must be submitted and filed completed no later April 1. Notification of Scholarship awards will be made by mail.
