Salmons deal paying off for Bucks
MILWAUKEE -- John Salmons knew when he was left at the hotel by the Chicago Bulls he was switching teams midseason.
It didn't take long to figure out he was headed to Milwaukee, and it's taken him even less time to make an impact.
The Bucks are 7-1 since acquiring Salmons for Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander at the trading deadline.
Salmons is averaging 20.4 points per game, returning to the form that helped the Bulls push the Boston Celtics to seven games in the first round of the NBA postseason last year.
Salmons says he's cool with the move and he wasn't sad at all leaving Chicago, even though he was shocked he was going to the Bucks.
Milwaukee comes into play Friday in position to reach the postseason for the first time since 2006.
