Little Sisters to put on play
The Little Sisters of the Poor, in collaboration with Theater of the Word, will put on "Little Saint of the Poor" at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 7.
The play was written to commemorate the canonization of St. Jeanne Jugan, Mother Foundress of the Little Sisters of the Poor. It examines euthanasia, dying and dignity at the end of life. It takes place at the St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly Auditorium, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
