Naperville woman charged with supplying booze to high schoolers
A 49-year-old Naperville woman has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of supplying alcohol to minors from Neuqua Valley High School, Naperville police said Thursday.
Lisa A. DeLuca is free on bail after authorities allege she supplied the alcohol to students during parties she hosted on four weekends before last May.
The parties were at her home on the 4200 block of Falkner Drive, Cmdr. Mike Anders said.
Police still are trying to determine the number of teens that attended the parties and were given alcohol, he said.
He said the investigation started in May after a school resource officer at Neuqua Valley was tipped off to the parties by a student.
A four-month investigation found at least four parties were held at the house where liquor was supplied to students, he said.
DeLuca appeared in court Feb. 25 for a preliminary hearing on the liquor-related charges. Her next court date is pending.
