Trustwave acquires Intellitactics

Chicago-based Trustwave, a provider of information security and compliance solutions, said Wednesday it has acquired Intellitactics, a provider of Security Information and Event Management technology.

The terms of the deal are confidential.

Security Information and Event Management is the automated collection, analysis, alerting, reporting and secure storage of all events logged in networks, systems, applications and databases, and is a critical component of security, as well as a requirement of many information security regulations and industry standards.
