Would a little courtesy have killed this guy?
A few nights ago we needed a tow truck. The guy's attitude on the phone was awful and if he knew how to speak more than one word at a time, he chose not to. I felt like I was wrecking his night giving him my business. I won't say the business name but it comes from that suburb that is very well known for elks.
Thankfully when the driver arrived it was not him but a man named Joe who more than made up for the phone guy with courtesy, helpfulness and a nice attitude.
At the end I tipped him and asked just one thing - please don't spend any of this on the guy who answers the phone.
