Stay tough against drunk drivers

Regarding your Feb. 17 article "Teen gets five years in DUI that killed girl," what a sad day for both families involved in this tragedy.

Thank you, Judge John Scotillo, for not taking this lightly. Hopefully there will not be any repeats with this young man.

Punishment for a DUI should not be "luck of the draw" based on which judge hears your case. All judges should take note and do everything in their power to keep drunk drivers off the streets, especially repeat offenders.
