Marriott Resort to renovate

LINCOLNSHIRE - The Lincolnshire Marriott Resort will break ground on a renovation project Monday. The 175-acre resort, in operation for more than 35 years, plans to completely redo the lobby and upgrade many of its features, including ballroom and meeting space renovations and creating a greatroom. This room concept is designed for business travelers to transition and mix work, relaxation and socializing throughout the day and evening with several zones. The 10,000-square-foot ballroom will see new carpeting, lighting and furniture. Guest rooms will be upgraded to include flat panel TVs and plug-in technology.
