Tickets on sale Thursday for Mexico soccer match vs. Senegal in Chicago

An exclusive VISA advance sale of tickets for the Mexico-Senegal match on May 10 will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday.

This will be the first match between Mexico and Senegal as El Tri prepares for its 14th FIFA World Cup this summer in South Africa. The Mexico-Senegal match at Soldier Field will mark the tenth time that the Mexican national team will play at Soldier Field.

The VISA pre-sale, which features a $5 discount to all Fire season ticket holders, will run until 9 a.m. March 8, when when sales to the general public will begin.

Fire fans will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the Mexico-Senegal match as well as a ticket to the Fire's Opening Night at Toyota Park. For $30, fans can purchase an endzone ticket to the May 10 Mexico match and receive a comparable ticket to the Fire's opening night against the San Jose Earthquakes at 7:30 p.m.

For $75, Fire fans can purchase a sideline ticket to see the Mexican national team and receive a comparable ticket to a Fire match. This ticket package is available by calling 1-888-MLS-FIRE (657-3473).
