Simple ways to boost election day turnout

What will it take to get people voting?

The answer to the "What will it take to get people voting?" question is really quite simple.

Move the Primaries out of the February Deep Freeze - it discriminates against the elderly and incapacitated voters, as it creates conditions hazardous to their health and safety - leaving many of them unable to perform their civic duties.

Eliminate the "declare-your-party" requirement - voting is a very personal, sacred privilege that the U.S. government should honor and protect. To force individuals to sacrifice their right to confidentiality when making vital decisions in the governance of their own country is totally unpatriotic, totally un-American.

What good is our world knowledge and sophistication when we still allow these political games and tricks to go on and on? We should know better by now!
