Pactiv to acquire PWP Industries
Pactiv Corp., the maker of Hefty garbage bags, climbed 4.3 percent to $23.71 at 9:53 a.m. in New York trading after agreeing to acquire PWP Industries for $200 million and saying it will increase its share buyback by $10 million.
Pactiv is based in Lake Forest.
