Thrice as nice: Lisle gets by Plano

Lisle beat Plano for the third time this season, 60-40, in a Class 2A Aurora Christian regional quarterfinal on Monday.

No. 4 seed Lisle got 15 points apiece by forwards Phil Palicka and Chris Wray, 10 points from Michael Reeves, 9 by Ryan Liss and 6 from Marcus Wilson. Wray added 11 rebounds and 7 assists.

Lisle (13-16) registered its third win since Jan. 22 over fellow Interstate Eight Conference member No. 5 Plano (14-14). The Lions advance to a regional semifinal against top seed Timothy Christian (20-6) at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
