Health care concern for upcoming grads

Perhaps the House and Senate need to gain a new perspective before they can successfully wrestle with health care reform. I wonder if any member of Congress would be willing to sign a letter of "voluntarily uninsured" for a week; if anything happened to either their family or themselves, nothing would be covered.

Just a week. Would living without a safety net for that week help them understand what far too many Americans feel every day? I have insurance provided by my employer, but I worry about my two sons who are currently in college. What happens if the economy has not improved enough for them to find a job with benefits when they graduate? It would be a blessing to be able to keep them on my plan until they get established - to age 26 as outlined in the pending health care bill. We are so close to passing health care reform it will be a tragedy not to get it done.
