Bidding around: Palatine boosters open dinner and auction to the public

Those are some of the items up for bid at the 26th annual Palatine High School VIP Booster Club Dinner and Auction on Friday, Feb. 26, at the Cotillion, 360 S. Creekside Drive, Palatine.

"Diamonds and Denim" is the theme, and you don't have to be a member of the booster club or a Palatine parent - both the dinner and the bidding are open to the everyone.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres, dinner and a cash bar and includes door prizes, raffles, and live and silent auctions along with a DJ.

Funds raised support booster programs for Palatine High School students, including VIP scholarships for graduating seniors and the after-prom event.

Tickets are $50 per person; a table of 10 costs $450. Ticket order forms are available online at www.phs.d211.org/VIP/index.htm.
