Nicor Gas celebrates opening
NAPERVILLE - Nicor Gas announced the opening of its new facility in Des Plaines and will mark the event with an open house at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23.
The facility is located at 1665 Birchwood in Des Plaines and houses staff from field operations, construction and maintenance and meter reading.
The Des Plaines regional facility provides a number of enhanced benefits for managing field and system operations as it is strategically located to service current and future population growth.
The facility covers approximately five acres and the building is 31,000 square feet to accommodate office space, vehicles, and storage.
