A great way to meet constituents

I would like to thank U.S. Rep. Bill Foster for bringing his Congress on Your Corner event to my district office recently and the many residents who stopped in to speak with us about their ideas and concerns. It provided constituents with a chance to talk with their elected officials at both the state and federal level.

As a representative for the people, I have made a commitment to stay accessible and listen to people in the district, not only by participating in this event with Rep. Foster, but by stopping in at local coffee shops, restaurants and taking tours of neighborhood businesses to hear the concerns and ideas people have.

I remain committed to being an accessible representative who brings resources to our community.
