Rockwell art in Geneva:At 2 p.m. today art historian Jeff Mishur will discuss the work of Norman Rockwell at the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Batavia police officers and firefighters will play against Batavia public schoolteachers. BHS dance and cheerleading teams will perform. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children. Batavia Ave. Proceeds from vendor registration fees, raffles, donations from vendors and the public will go to Lutheran Church Charities, an Illinois-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency. Cookies and coffee are provided.Dist. 33 scholarship raffle:The Foundation for Educational Excellence for West Chicago Elementary School District 33 will hold a $10,000 college scholarship raffle. Tickets are $2 each and 1,000 tickets will be sold through April 5. A second-place prize of a $500 savings bond has been donated by DuPage National Bank. The drawing will take place April 8 at the beginning of the District 33 school board meeting. Tickets are available in the main office at all District 33 schools; at the district office, 312 E.
