Some people do want votes back
I read Chuck Goudie's commentary on Feb 8 - twice. I can't believe he thinks the lieutenant governor is "inconsequential." Governor Quinn used to be the lieutenant governor.
I also can't believe he thinks 212,912 people wouldn't want their vote back. Mr. Cohen's background was not widely known until the polls closed. Mr. Goudie also states that since the Illinois Constitution does not disqualify Mr. Cohen, his nomination should stand.
I wish the Illinois Constitution disqualified partisan reporters and politicians who don't care about the welfare of Illinoisans.
