Batavia police officers and firefighters will play against Batavia public schoolteachers. BHS dance and cheerleading teams will perform. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children. Tickets can be bought at Fire Station 1, 800 E. Wilson St.; the school, 1200 W. Main St.; or the police department, 100 N. Island Ave.ECC, Bradley team up for scholarships: Elgin Community College and Bradley University officials will sign an agreement Monday that will allow high-achieving ECC students an opportunity to apply for a $3,500 scholarship toward Bradley's tuition. Under the agreement, 20 Presidents' Scholarships - $3,500 apiece - will be available to ECC students transferring to Bradley. To be eligible, students must have a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher and either 30 transferrable hours or an ECC associate's degree.Garden club meeting:The Pottawatomie Garden Club meets at noon Monday at the St. Charles Library, 1 S.
