Senior group hosts gala
The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council will host its 10th annual Caring Hearts Gala from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at The Cotillion, 360 S. Creekside Drive, Palatine. The event, "Cruisin' Thru Time," will feature a four-course dinner, open bar, dancing, and live and silent auctions.
Award-winning Palatine author James Jack and celebrity auctioneer Steve Cochran of WGN Radio 720 will be in attendance. Tickets are $125, of which $75 is tax-deductible. The fundraiser helps the council continue to provide services to seniors. For more details, call (847) 991-1112.
