Elk Grove Friends of the Library plans sale

The Friends of the Library will hold its annual book sale from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27; and from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, in the large meeting room of the Elk Grove Village Public Library, 1001 Wellingotn Ave.

Friday, Feb. 26 is Preview Night, which is limited to Friends of the Library members only. Memberships may be purchased that night and insures your opportunity to purchase from the entire collection.

On Saturday and Sunday the sale is open to the general public, with a Bag Sale on Sunday. Purchase of a $5 bag (grocery size) is required for entrance. The bag may then be filled with as many nonspecial items as it will hold. Additional $5 bags are also available.

Hundreds of books in 50 different categories including VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs and books on tape will be available for your pleasure. All proceeds from the sale go to purchase items and programs for the library. For information call, (847) 439-0447 ext. 226.
