Utility payments automated:Naperville will implement a new automated telephone credit card payment program for utility bill customers beginning March 1. Customers will continue to use the same phone number, (630) 420-6059. Those who use the automated system will be charged a $3.50 convenience fee per $300. The fee is reimbursement to the payment program company and is not received by the city. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted. Residents also can pay their utility bills via e-mail or in person from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays.Woman's Club scholarship:The Carol Stream Woman's Club is accepting scholarship applications from female Carol Stream high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall. The scholarship honors a student who has notable academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities and community service, and demonstrates strong leadership. The deadline is April 12 and the scholarship will be awarded in May. Applications are available from guidance departments of high schools serving Carol Stream and www.cswomansclub.org. Shows are at 9:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 26 and 2 and 6 p.m. Feb. 27 and 28. Tickets are $8 to $11 in advance and $10 to $13 at the door.
