Sports is where the votes are
The votes have been tallied and our choices for the U.S. Senate race will be between two candidates known for hiding and evading public scrutiny. Both part of the "I'll say anything, do anything" to get elected crowd.
And so far the pickings for a third choice is slim. That is why conservatives must act now. I am calling on Peter Fitzgerald: Come back, we need you. Mike Ditka, redeem yourself, you owe it to us. Jack Ryan, can you hear my voice? Mancow Muller, we are desperate.
To answer the question of why the voter turnout is so low: We are not advertising where the audience is, the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Stanley Cup playoffs. Sports, in and out of season, is what Americans feast on.
