Politicians: Do not call me

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Gloria Kowal, I live in Kane County, I have been of voting age for many years, and I have always been a Democrat.

But for how much longer? That can't be guaranteed.

The reason for this letter is to inform all the politicians, Democrat or Republication, that ran in the primaries, why you did not get my vote (not that you care). Come November I am sure you will care.

Starting two weeks before the election, for some reason you felt that it was your God-given right to invade my privacy with your phone calls. I was averaging three to five calls per day. The Saturday before the election, lo and behold, there were 11 calls.

I am able to read, write, see and hear. I also had the option of getting a newspaper, and reading all I wanted to know about any politician that I may have been interested in. But, for some reason, you felt that I should be inundated with your calls.

If you think that I alone feel this way, forget it - even the volunteers at the polling place agreed with me. I have now registered my name with the Do Not Call list for both parties. I am not asking, but demanding that you honor my wishes.
