Dist. 214 community resource fair on March 15

District 214 invites parents, other adults, educators and human service staff to attend a free Community Resource Fair, "Building Bridges to a Bright Future," 7:30 a.m.-noon on Monday, March 15 at the Forest View Educational Center Fieldhouse, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.

The fair provides an excellent opportunity to share information about vital resources available in the Northwest suburbs and beyond. Agencies' and organizations' staff representing resources such as mental health, substance abuse and bilingual counseling, food, housing assistance, personal support services, education, advocacy, legal assistance, recreation, transportation, and transition services to adulthood will be present to answer questions and provide written materials. This is your one stop shop to discover what your community can offer you!

Private and not-for-profit social service agency responders who would like to host an informational table may fax their request for a registration brochure to (847) 718-7698, attention Pat Kelley. All interested agencies must include an e-mail address with their request for a brochure.

Completed forms should be faxed back no later than Feb. 15.
