Third St. Drew Ullberg, director of natural resources for the Kane County Forest Preserve District, will discuss the animals, trees and plants that greeted Geneva's first settlers. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for GHC members and students and includes admission to the exhibition "Scouting: A Century of Values," celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Cookies and coffee are provided and participants are encouraged to bring their lunch.Cocktails for Haiti aid:A cocktail party to raise money for Haiti's earthquake victims is from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Past Basket, 200 S. Third St., Geneva RJA Design, Jobella, Odalisque Beauty Apothecary, Moveable Feast and Past Basket are the hosts. 100 percent of the proceeds go to the American Red Cross for earthquake relief.
