PHS honored by Forensics League

Prospect High School's speech team has recently been granted charter membership in the National Forensic League. This significant distinction is the highest school membership honor in the NFL.

As a charter member, Prospect has demonstrated excellence in attaining new members and degrees. Prospect's head coach is English teacher Jeremy Morton.

The NFL is a nonpartisan, not for profit educational honor society, established to train high school students in the forensic arts: debate, public speaking, and the interpretation of literature.

The NFL believes that all students should become effective communicators, ethical individuals, critical thinkers, and leaders in a democratic society. Currently, more than 93,000 high school students and 7,000 teachers are members.
