Good timing on health stories
I want to thank the folks at The Daily Herald for two different articles.
Several months ago, I read an article in the weekend magazine that listed symptoms of ovarian cancer. I had every symptom, so I went to the doctor who confirmed the diagnosis. Because it was caught in the early stages and I'm being treated by the wonderful Dr. Tunca, I'm confident that I'll be fine by summer.
Until then, because of the chemo treatments, I'm losing my hair. Like magic, last week, an article was in your paper with information about wigs for chemo patients.
I cannot thank you enough for printing these articles. The first article may have actually saved my life and the second article has made my life much more comfortable.
