The better approach to health care

There was a moment in the State of the Union when the president said, "But if anyone from either party has a better approach that will bring down premiums, bring down the deficit, cover the uninsured, strengthen Medicare for seniors, and stop insurance company abuses, let me know. Let me know. Let me know. I'm eager to hear it."

Mr. President, a single-payer system accomplishes all of those objectives in a way that is fair, moral and values human life regardless of income. Bring single-payer, or at the very least, a public option that creates true competition back into the conversation and stand behind it.
