Ramos triumphs in Cook County Riley vacancy

With 94 percent of precincts reporting, Sandra G. Ramos was front-runner and projected winner with 28 percent of the vote for Circuit Court judge in the Riley vacancy. Russell William Hartigan was second with 24 percent, followed by Tracey J. Stokes with 17 percent and James Michael Bailey with 11 percent. Edmund Paul Michalowski and Marvin W. Gray had 8 percent each and John Patrick Nihon with 4 percent. The term runs 6 years. All election results are unofficial.
