Molina gets another shot at Kane Dist. 1

Democratic voters want to give Myrna Molina another chance at representing District 1 on the Kane County Board. With all seven precincts reporting late Tuesday, Molina gathered 159 votes to defeat the woman who replaced her, Sylvia Leonberger, who received 93 votes, unofficial totals show. Molina campaigned accusing Leonberger for a lack of transparency in county government. So far, there is no Republican candidate on the November ballot.
