It's up to voters to stop corruption
With the primary election on Feb. 2, as a registered voter, you have the chance to stop pay-to-play politics here in Illinois. Before going to cast your ballot, please do some research either at you library or on line and discover if your intended candidates have taken campaign monies from companies doing business with the state of Illinois. The only way to stop pay-to-play politics in Illinois is not to vote for any candidate who has accepted funds as such.
Since the politicians can't seem to monitor themselves with proper legislation, the responsibility now falls to the voters. Please, do you part.
