Feds: Abbott's Kaletra may interact with Advair

Abbott Laboratories' HIV medicine Kaletra shouldn't be taken with GlaxoSmithKline Plc's asthma inhalers Advair and Serevent or Pfizer Inc.'s Revatio tablets for pulmonary arterial hypertension, U.S. regulators said.

Abbott is based in Libertyville Township.

The Food and Drug Administration warned doctors about the potential for drug interactions in an e-mailed notice today.
