If you want my vote, stop the robocalls

As a person who is on the Do Not Call list, and who is politically aware and votes every election, I am sorry to say that I am totally frustrated with the number of phone calls I am receiving from political candidates. I am receiving 2-4 calls/day, every day. When they are made by a live person, I am telling the person that I don't want to receive these calls. But, most of the calls are mechanical so I just hang up.

As much as I am a dedicated voter, and want to be educated on the issues, I don't want to have to listen to a machine tell me what a wonderful candidate so-and-so is. It's bad enough that we have to watch the same TV ads over and over and over, especially when the ads usually contain no info on the candidate's position, only mud they are slinging at their opponent. The phone calls I consider an invasion of my privacy, but apparently the law gives me no way to make them stop.

Please, candidate, if you want my vote, don't call me.
