Candidate brings depth of experience

I recommend to fellow residents of the 4th District of DuPage County, Brad "Packey" Webb as our representative on the DuPage County Board.

I have lived in this district for 40 years - almost as long as I have known Brad. I have watched his maturation since he was a student in my class at Benet Academy in the 1970s through the present day, which finds us sharing concerns of mutual interest.

This first run at elected office seems to be a natural outgrowth of the willingness to be of service that has come to characterize Brad. His community involvement, through active participation on several boards, testifies to his generous concern for the greater good. It is this concern for the greater good that has motivated Brad to seek this office and bring a fresh perspective to the governing of DuPage County.

While I have found Brad's contributions at various meetings to be characterized by the ability to listen and to empathize, his compassion has never run roughshod over his commitment to serve those asking his help in governing their institutions to be a strong voice for fiscal responsibility. No institution, be it private or public, can serve anyone from the depths of debt.

Brad's successful business background, resting on the bedrock of fiscal shrewdness, his legal education, his personal qualities of generosity and compassion, merit the vote from residents of the 4th district.
