How will 'Lost' end?
Local "Lost" fans offer their predictions, both serious and silly, for the show's final season:
"Ultimately, I think the series will end the way it started, with the original flight. We've already been shown that you can change the timeline. I just think that this time, the plane won't crash and everyone will go on with their lives as they intended before the crash. Somehow or another, though, I don't think Locke will be on the plane. I think Locke is part of the island as much as Richard, Jacob, or Ben. The island chose him and I don't think the island un-chooses people, regardless of space, time, or physics."
- Elizabeth Van Orden, Palatine
"I don't think both Jack and Sawyer will make it out of the series alive. The only way the love triangle with Kate will resolve is if one of them dies."
- Sarah Kovac, Elmhurst
"Juliet isn't really dead. I also think that they'll all end up back in L.A. and that, because of what they did on the island, nothing will have changed for them in the end, but that they will all run into one another and feel somehow connected."
- Megan Moritz, Rolling Meadows
"I think the show ends with the realization that they are all just a figment of Bob Newhart's imagination, as he awakens inside his bed-and-breakfast."
- Mark Benson, Oak Park
"Roseanne wakes up and it was all a dream - insert spooky ghost noise -"
- Dan Schwartz, Wheeling
