Stamp out candidate phone solicitations

We worked hard to get laws in place to stop unwanted solicitation phone calls, why have we allowed the political arena to escape these rules and regulations?

There is nothing more aggravating than getting 5-6 phone calls daily soliciting votes for various candidates running in the upcoming election. It's bad enough to have to put up with the TV commercials, but now they are imposing on my rights to privacy by repeated calls and recorded messages overloading my answering machine.

I would not purchase windows or siding from a phone solicitor, why would I vote for a candidate that solicits by phone?

Let's put a stop to this right now by declaring a "No" vote for all the candidates who violate our privacy by this practice.
