Need someone to fight job losses

As a recent graduate of the University of Illinois, I am very happy to have found a job that doesn't involve waiting tables or flipping burgers. Many of my former classmates have not been so lucky.

Times are tough all over the country, but the anti-business attitude of our representatives in Springfield is making things even harder for Illinois graduates. Between 1997 and 2007, Illinois ranked 48 out 50 states in job growth with a whopping negative 735,000 jobs, and that was before the current crash.

These depressing figures have inspired me to look closely at the candidates running to be our representative in Springfield. I want our representative to fight against tax increases and repeal or oppose excessive regulations that are causing companies and jobs to avoid Illinois like the plague.

I've reviewed the platforms of the five men competing to represent us, and believe Chris Nybo can do the most for us down in Springfield. He has my vote and I urge my fellow recent grads and anyone else who cares about jobs in Illinois to cast a vote for Chris Nybo at the polls on Feb. 2.
