Search for missing Hanover Park man continues

Police continued Friday to search for Richard J. Wieting, the 53-year-old Hanover Park man reported missing since Tuesday.

There's nothing new on the investigation, said Hanover Park Deputy Chief Tom Cortese. Police did find his car abandoned in Chicago near the Foster Street Beach in Rogers Park. He's described as 6-foot 2-inches tall, 185 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He may have been wearing a U.S. Postal Service uniform.
