Elginbull; Jama Sammy Lee Wilder, 21, of the 200 block of Langford Court, Elgin, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana at 12:35 a.m. Thursday, reports said. An officer on patrol asked Wilder questions while he was standing at the corner of Waverly and Price drives. The officer smelled marijuana smoke on Wilder's clothes and found two bags of marijuana in a search, reports said. Luna, 39, of the 1900 block of Lakeshore Drive, Belvidere, was charged with identity theft Wednesday, after police said he used someone else's identification in November to fraudulently obtain $338 from that person's Carpentersville bank account. His bond was set at $25,000 and his next court date is Feb. 3 at the Kane County Judicial Center.bull; Dalia Conteras, 17, of the 0-100 block of Lockman Circle, Elgin, was charged with felony retail theft Wednesday. She is accused of attempting to steal more than $150 worth of clothes and shoes from the Kohl's department store inside Spring Hill Mall. Her bond was set at $2,500 and she is due in court Feb. 10 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
